The latest version, Japanese Partner 4.0, is the result of our never ending quest to introduce the most powerful and yet intuitive multi-lingual system to global users. What is the TwinBridge Japanese Partner 4.0? The TwinBridge Japanese Partner is a Windows application which allows double- byte Japanese characters to be processed in any Windows based applications. Once Japanese Partner is started, Japanese characters can be entered simply by selecting a Japanese font, and the character can be entered using one of the many input methods (such as Roma-Kanji, Simple-Stroke, etc). New features of the TwinBridge Japanese Partner 4.0 (Certain features are not available in this demo version, please see below) * Proprietary coding scheme based on the Unicode standard which supports most popular coding standards such as JIS(EUC) and Shift-JIS. A total of 20902 CJK characters, 2350 Hanguel characters, and Japanese Kana characters are supported. While the Japanese Partner includes Japanese input methods, all of the characters can be entered with Unicodes. In addition to the JIS(EUC) and Shift-JIS codes, Japanese Partner comes with three other Unicode based internal codes: TBCJK, JISCJK, and SJISCJK. All three coding standards include all of the CJK characters in the Unicode character set, but with different character arrangements. TBCJK characters are arranged in the order of the Unicode character set, while JISCJK and SJISCJK follow the JIS(EUC) and Shift-JIS standards for backward compatibility. Code conversion is possible between all of the code standards with the included code converter utility. * New system interface including: Floating control center with graphical buttons for accessing major system functions. The control center will attach to the title bar of the active Window or float freely on the Windows desktop. Windows applications can be launched with the quick launch button in the control center. * Variable size floating prompt line with features such as: * Auto-hide and hot keys functionality. * The prompt line can be set to double lines or single line. Prompt line characters' size and font can be changed according to user's preferences. * Punctuation/Symbol characters mapping table to facilitate inputting of punctuation and symbols. * Compatibility with third party DBCS TrueType fonts such as J-Windows DBCS fonts. * Automatic display internal code of the character entered. For example, by entering a character, the system will display the internal code of the character. * Compatible with Windows 95, Windows 3.1, Windows 3.1 for workgroup, OS/2 (full Windows mode), Power Mac with Soft Windows v2.0 * Supports Internet software such as Netscape, Eudora etc. What is the difference between the TwinBridge Japanese Partner 4.0 standard version and the demo version?
